Nanotronics
Combining optical microscopy, computational super-resolution, artificial intelligence, and robotics- Nanotronics is bringing the world’s most advanced microscope to every manufacturing sector. Their high-tech products are becoming an integral part of production processes at many of the world’s leading manufacturers.
Our Task
Visual Natives’ first project with Nanotronics was to film/produce a sleek and engaging company showcase reel to present Nanotronics bi-coastal operation, company culture and 2018 product line. The production began at Nanotronics west coast office in Los Angeles where we spent the day filming the team and capturing the LA skyline via drone. Our second stop landed us in Hollister CA, just south of Silicon Valley where we got up close and personal filming Nanotronics product factory with the brilliant minds behind their product’s hardware and software. Using automated sliders and synced camera techniques enabled us to execute precision shots of each product’s unique and intricate functions.
Our last stop lead back to the east coast in Brooklyn, NY to capture the company’s main corporate office. Since Visual Natives holds an FAA Part 107 small unmanned aircraft license, we were given clearance to pilot a drone over the Hudson River to capture mesmerizing footage of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. We concluded the project by constructing a series of edits for Nanotronics to use at trade show installations and various advertisements.

Capturing the Future of Manufacturing
When gathering visual content Nanotronics, our Photographer made a visit to the unique and industrial Brooklyn Navy Yard which houses the main corporate office to procure photos of the company’s Executives as well as the Engineers who make it all possible. The goal was to capture a day in the life, including the technical and lifestyle aspect of this cutting edge company making waves in the tech world. Photos were taken of the space itself as well as the innovations being utilized within their products. All while instilling the same mood to ensure consistent branding between motion and stills.
Putting the Pieces Together
Upon the delivery of our newly rendered visual assets, Nanotronics awarded Visual Natives with the role of re-designing and developing their new company website. The production allowed for a complete overhaul that centered around our high quality videos, photos, and product renders. The finished website demonstrates a consistent and cohesive visual experience that utilizes our full suite of creative services.
